These
two trophy panels evolved from the trophy design
in the black and white photo taken at Yale in Mr.
Rathbone's composition
class. It evolved
from
the first idea into a pair of panels. These designs are
strongly influenced by my Italian year and were done by my
mother
in a very fine hooked wool rug technique. She often dyed
her own colors
for these works.
